To accelerate the contracting processes and facilitate the implemetation of partnerships between academic research and the industry, ARIIS (Alliance pour la Recherche et l’Innovation des Industries de Santé) and Aviesan (Alliance Nationale Pour les Sciences de la Vie et de la Santé) have prepare collaboration agreement models.
These models provide a legal basis for negotiations for the purpose of following up the establishment of public-private partnerships. They allow to address the areas of consensus as quickly as possible and to concentrate the work of lawyers on the key elements of the negotiation that need to be adapted according to the situations.
These four models apply to the different partnership situations described below. Each model is accompanied by a user guide that provides details on specific items.
These models are available on the website of our partner Aviesan :
Note that these contracts result from works being conducted under the framework of the Strategic Council for the Healthcare Industries 2012 aimed to simplfy the public-private research partnerships in the field of life sciences and of biomedical research. In order to achieve this, academics and industries have agreed on the general principles of public-private collaboration with the prospect of and will to increase efficiency, by providing tools that will help reduce the time involved in contracting processes. This action demonstrates the joint willingness to increase the exchanges and links between public and private research.
